Just a quick note: Owners of the Nokia N9/N950 can now install Marble (Touch) from the Ovi Store. Enjoy 🙂

  2. promeneur says:

addendum to my comment: symbian S60 5 (nokia 5800 xpressmusic)

symbian s60 5 has multitouch capabilities

  3. nomenomen says:

Ekhm, it is Nokia Store now, not Ovi

  4. Torsten Rahn says:

promeneur: with the qt-components available for symbian as well it should be quite easy to port Marble Touch to Symbian. But we need somebody to do it! 🙂

  5. Ivan says:

    Fantastic 🙂

KAlgebra and Marble on my phone!

One question, though. Is there a possibility to tell it to download reasonably high resolution map for an area so that I can use it offline then? (seen that open street map imagery is loaded on the go)

  6. Dennis Nienhüser says:

@Ivan: Not yet, but I will add that feature soon: Downloading the tiles for selected zoom levels for either the visible region or along the route.

  7. Ivan says:

Glad to hear that. This will be one of my favourite n9 apps 🙂
